Music – our children take part in weekly music classes conducted by multi-instrumentalist experienced in working with children,. They develop their musical sensitivity, sense of rhythm and knowledge about the world of sounds by singing, dancing and playing musical instruments together – for example, playing the accordion, the guitar or the piano.
Montessorian quiet lessons – these teach children very important skills and help to build the sense of self-agency. A child becomes the master of his/her moves. He/She can decide that all body parts remain motionless and the reward for this is great – internal satisfaction from their abilities and the fascination that comes from recognizing absolute silence. A child becomes more disciplined and is able to notice the need for silence in places such as: church, cinema, theatre, and so on. The experience is even more valuable as it comes from the child’s own will and not from requests made by adults. This is also an introduction to meditation and contemplation as well as learning to rest.
Sensoryplay – classes with passion and imagination conducted to develop imagination and the multi-sensory experiences of the art world. The products of children’s imagination translated into sensory art form beautiful decorations in our nursery, and the children also learn to experience and express themselves in an abstract and multi-sensory way.
Speech and music therapy – classes are conducted by a speech therapist who in an atmosphere of happy play allows children to develop musical skills and later abilities of logical thinking and mathematics as well as the ability to express themselves. Auditory sensitivity and visual-motor coordination are the basic areas of stimulation during these classes.
Mouth and tongue gymnastics – group speech therapy classes that involve the development of speech, thanks to which we also develop sensitivity and ability to create and express. Children put in practice the proverb that laughter is the best medicine.
Hand therapy – classes that aim at strengthening fine motor skills and, in the future, preparing to learn to write. Children, under the eye of a professional, take part in fascinating games and plaings that involves hands, shoulders and senses, using e.g. elements of the method of painting with 10 fingers.
Holistic development support – Group classes are conducted by a psychologist with the comprehensive development of the Little Ones in mind. Following the FSA philosophy, the classes prepare children to participate ifully n personal and social life, shaping their self-esteem, understand emotions and express themselves, and also the sense of belonging and the ability to work in a group.
Gimnastics for kids – group activities conducted by a physiotherapist that take care of awakening interests and needs for physical activities among children, and also shaping the right posture, stimulating physical development and motor skills, sense of balance and proprioception. Taking part in classes organized by Mr Michal, childrent not only have fun but also learn social behaviours, achieve their first successes and build their self-esteem. As moving is good!
